  • standard: 26.65 PLN/hour net (33.00 PLN/hour gross)
  • for student: under 26 years old — 33.00 PLN/hour net

Additional bonuses and allowances are possible according to the internal rules of the supermarket chain (discussed during onboarding).

Biedronka supermarket chain is one of the largest retail networks in Poland, specializing in food and everyday goods. Work in stores located in central areas of Warsaw.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time employment
  • Shift schedule (exact shifts and days off are agreed with the store manager)
  • Work on weekdays and weekends according to the schedule

Type of Contract

The type of contract is determined with the employer during the interview (usually a civil contract — umowa zlecenie for cashiers in retail trade).

Accommodation

Accommodation is generally not provided.

The candidate is responsible for arranging their own housing in Warsaw.

Responsibilities

  • Operating the cash register: serving customers, processing payments, issuing receipts
  • Handling cash and bank cards
  • Scanning products, checking prices and discounts
  • Maintaining order at the cashier’s workstation and checkout area
  • Assisting with product display when necessary
  • Following cash-handling procedures and customer service standards

Requirements

  • Age up to 50 (older candidates may be considered individually)
  • Communicative level of Polish (ability to interact with customers and colleagues)
  • Good eyesight and attention to detail
  • Politeness, stress tolerance, and readiness to work with high customer flow
  • Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends
