Warehouse and production worker
Poland, Ochmanów, near Kraków
Oknoplast – a modern factory specialising in the production of window systems.
Recruitment is open for a long-term project at the plant in Ochmanów (approx. 23 km from Kraków).
Important:
- Arrival directly to the factory for an on-site interview.
- A mandatory condition: you must already have your own accommodation in the Kraków / Ochmanów area.
Location and employment conditions:
- Workplace: Ochmanów (around 23 km from Kraków)
- Nationality: citizens of Ukraine
- Gender: men
- Age: up to 55
- Type of contract: Umowa o pracę (standard Polish employment contract)
Planned arrival date: 23.01 (final confirmation with the coordinator before departure).
Position:
Warehouse and production worker (window systems)
Salary:
- Performance-related bonus according to company regulations
- Salary payment: by the 10th of each month, paid to a bank account
- After 10 worked days: possible advance payment of 400 PLN net
Average working time: 190–210 hours per month
Average overtime: from 22 hours per month and more (depending on department).
Main duties:
- Assembly of window hinges
- Assembly of window frames
- Installation of glass units
- Quality control of finished products
- Cutting openings in window profiles according to instructions
- Gluing and fitting elements
- Loading and unloading materials and finished products
- Manual work with hand and power tools (assembly tools)
- Receiving and issuing goods in the warehouse
- Placing and arranging goods in the warehouse
- Participation in stock-taking / inventory
- Keeping the workplace clean and tidy
- Supporting production and warehouse processes as needed
- Work is carried out standing, with regular lifting of heavier items
Break: one 25-minute break per shift.
Temperature inside the plant: approx. 20–23°C.
Work schedule:
Work schedule depends on department. Two systems are possible:
Option I – 3-shift system:
- Monday to Sunday (5–6 working days per week)
- 1st shift: 06:00–14:00
- 2nd shift: 14:00–22:00
- 3rd shift: 22:00–06:00
Option II – long shifts:
- Monday to Sunday (3–4 working days per week)
- Day shift: 06:00–18:00
- Night shift: 18:00–06:00
The specific department and final schedule are assigned after the interview at the factory.
Accommodation and commute:
- Accommodation: only own accommodation (the company does not provide housing)
- No housing allowance
- Commute to work: on your own (public transport or private car)
Workwear:
- Workwear is provided free of charge (shoes, T-shirt and basic set).
Additional information:
- Canteen on site – lunch approx. 10 PLN
- Smoking allowed only in designated areas
- Employees receive a monthly card for drinks at the plant (approx. 24 PLN/month)
- After 10 worked days there is a simple quality test (to check understanding of processes and quality standards)
Candidate requirements:
- Good eyesight
- Well-developed manual skills
- Good physical condition, readiness to work standing and to lift heavier items
- Discipline, attention to detail and readiness to follow safety and quality procedures
