Warehouse worker – clothing and footwear

Мodern logistics warehouse

Poland, Polkowice (approx. 70 km from Zielona Góra).

22.68 PLN/hour net + 300 PLN net bonus for at least 168 hours/month

Onboarding / paperwork: offices in Opole or Wrocław.

Contract type: umowa zlecenie (civil-law contract), official employment.

The position is mainly for women.

Duties

Depending on the department:

  • picking and completing orders using a scanner;
  • sorting and scanning products;
  • packing online orders;
  • putting goods back on shelves after returns;
  • receiving goods (opening boxes, labelling);
  • wrapping/foiling and securing products;
  • moving cartons around the warehouse;
  • keeping the workstation clean and tidy.

Typical productivity levels:

  • picking / dispatch – around 60 items per hour;
  • on average 180–200 items per workstation;
  • up to 50,000 items per shift across the whole warehouse.

Working conditions

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday.
  • Shifts:
    • 06:00–14:00
    • 14:00–22:00
    • 22:00–06:00
  • Average working time: around 200 hours per month.
  • Overtime possible.
  • Twice a year there may be special shifts 06:00–18:00 and 18:00–06:00 (e.g. about 3 weeks in March).

Warehouse conditions:

  • modern warehouse for clothing, footwear and accessories;
  • in winter: around 14°C, in summer: over 20°C;
  • it is rather cool inside, most workers wear jackets and gloves during the shift.

Salary

Estimated monthly income: 4,500–7,000 PLN (depending on hours worked and rate).

Base hourly rates:

  • 22.68 PLN/hour net + 300 PLN net bonus for at least 168 hours/month (with PIT-2 signed);
  • 25.36 PLN/hour net if you are under 26 or have a tax residency certificate;
  • 31.40 PLN/hour net if you are a student under 26 (confirmation from university required).

For candidates with their own accommodation an additional compensation may apply:

  • 2 PLN / RBH or 1 PLN / RBH, or no bonus – depending on the agreed terms.

Accommodation and transport

The employer provides:

  • accommodation in private houses/flats with full facilities;
  • you only pay utilities – about 600 PLN/month;
  • free transport to and from the warehouse;
  • accommodation during the document/permit process in Opole or Wrocław (approx. 250 PLN deducted from the first salary).

For candidates with their own housing, the above hourly compensation scheme may apply.

Requirements

Documents:

  • work based on a visa / special stay permit valid for at least 4 months, or a biometric passport with at least 90 days remaining.

  • good manual skills;
  • willingness to work, reliability, attention to procedures;
  • good physical condition;
  • readiness for shift work.

Mandatory:

  • your own set of bedding (duvet cover, sheet, pillowcase);
  • if needed, bedding can be purchased locally (e.g. in Pepco).
