Meat preparation and packing worker

Work location

Gamyklos 27, LT-13249 Rudamina, Lithuania, approximately 14 km from Vilnius. Work on food production lines preparing marinades and meat products.

Pay and payments

€1000–1100 gross per month; €900 net without additional hours. Up to 12 additional hours per week may be available; with these hours, earnings may reach €1100 net per month. Additional hours and the higher income are not guaranteed. Normally 168–180 hours per month. State social assistance of €300–350 may be available individually, as a one-off payment or over 2–3 months; it is not guaranteed salary.

Duties and workplace

Mixing marinades, placing meat in marinade, packing, weighing and labelling products, meeting production tasks and keeping the workplace clean. Temperature up to +5 °C.

Schedule

Two working days followed by two days off. Shift intervals: 06:00–19:00 and 09:00–22:00. The stated working time is 12 hours; these intervals span 13 hours, so the recording of working time needs clarification. Breaks: two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute meal break. No night shifts.

Requirements

Women and men aged 18–57, height at least 165 cm, physical fitness for production work. No individual exceptions to the age range. A chest screening examination performed in Ukraine is required. Nail and eyelash extensions, piercings and jewellery are prohibited at work.

Accommodation and transport

Accommodation: 3–4 people per room; €75 per month. Washing machine, drying rack, microwave, pillows and blankets are provided. Bring bed linen and kitchenware. Commuting by public transport takes up to 35 minutes; travel is free for Ukrainian citizens under the stated offer conditions. Free organised departures from Lviv on Mondays.

Contract and documents

Employment contract (umowa o pracę). Independent arrivals complete registration in Vilnius on Tuesdays, 09:00–11:00. Recruitment covers Ukrainian and Lithuanian citizens subject to the employment conditions. The offer requires Lithuanian temporary protection and presence in Ukraine on 24 February 2022; valid visas, a Polish residence card, active UKR status and active protection in another country are not accepted.
