Seafood Packaging Operator

• At ≥220 hrs/month: 24.63 PLN/hour net
• At ≥240 hrs/month: 25.13 PLN/hour net

Contract / Basis

• Umowa zlecenie
• Work basis: biometric passport / visa / residence card
• Paperwork in Gdańsk; coordinator will transfer you to housing

Scope

• Conveyor-line packaging of ready seafood products (lightly frozen semi-finished goods)
• Sorting, packing, labeling; order prep for dispatch
• Compliance with hygiene and quality standards

Working Environment

• Clean, modern facility; no fish smell
• Plant temperature +5…+10 °C (locally near some machines ~0 °C)
• PPE provided free: insulated rubber boots, water-repellent coverall
• Comfort perks: fruit on Mon/Wed, hot soups on Tue/Thu

Schedule

• No night shifts
• 2 shifts, 8–12 hrs: 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00
• 5–6 days/week (Saturday added when orders spike)
• Breaks: 25 min on 8-hr shift; 25 min + 15 min on 12-hr shift
• Typical 200–250 hrs/month

Payroll

• Salary by the 10th each month
• 200 PLN advance after 14 days

Accommodation

• Rekowo Górne, 7-minute walk to the plant; Lewiatan shop nearby
• 2-person rooms
• 450 PLN/month, deducted from payroll
• Amenities: free Wi-Fi, equipped kitchen, washing machine, bathrooms
• Bedding: bring your own bed linen/pillowcases

Medical/Compliance

• Sanitary booklet valid 2 years; 300 PLN deducted and refunded after 3 months of work
• Medical exam 150 PLN—deducted from first paycheck

Student track (must meet all conditions)

• Employment as a student only if enrolled at a Polish university
• Required: plastic student ID + confirmation letter from the university

Additionally

• While awaiting start, you can open a bank account/card and, if needed, obtain a PESEL.
