Salmon processing and packing worker

Pay

€1400–1600 gross per month. For 168 hours: €900–1000 net; the amount depends on days worked. With additional hours and night shifts: from €1200 net. Additional hours and this income are not guaranteed. After 10 days worked, a €150 advance may be paid on the 20th of the month; notify the coordinator one week in advance.

Duties and workplace

Food production: final salmon processing, removing tail remnants, trimming small belly portions, removing bones and checking quality. Placing smoked and sliced salmon on trays, weighing, packing and preparing it for dispatch. Temperature: +5 to +15 °C. Work clothing includes light jackets or fleeces.

Schedule and contract

12-hour shifts, 2 days on / 2 days off, 07:00–19:00. Usually 168–180 hours per month. An additional 20–30 hours may be available by agreement. No regular night shifts, but they may be required by production needs. Breaks: 10 minutes every 2 hours and a 30-minute lunch break. Employment contract (umowa o pracę). Minimum employment period: 6 months.

Requirements

Women aged 18–55, height at least 160 cm, good manual dexterity and readiness for physical work. No individual exceptions to the age range. Compliance with hygiene rules. Artificial nails, eyelash extensions, piercings and jewellery are prohibited during shifts.

Accommodation, meals and transport

Free equipped accommodation, 2–3 people per room. Washing machine, refrigerator, television, microwave, drying rack and kitchenware are available. Bring bed linen, a mug, spoon and saucepan. Free food and 2 cups of tea or coffee per shift; a paid canteen is also available. Organised transport to work takes around 15 minutes. Organised departures from Lviv: 05.10.2026 — free; 12.10.2026 — ticket EUR 100. For independent arrivals, registration takes place in Vilnius on Tuesdays.

Recruitment of Ukrainian and Lithuanian citizens is subject to the stated employment conditions. Lithuanian temporary protection and presence in Ukraine on 24 February 2022 are required.
