Poultry production worker

Location and duties

Rudamina, Gamyklos g. 27, LT-13249, Lithuania. Quality checks, inspecting and packing chicken parts, separating thigh meat, filleting breasts, placing products in a blast-freezing chamber and packing into containers and bags. Weighing, labelling and scanning finished products. Some tasks involve a knife; stations and duties may change during the shift.

Pay

1200–1300 € gross per month; base pay approximately 900 € net. With an extra 20–30 hours per month, earnings may reach 1000–1150 € net, without a guarantee. Advance of up to 150 € on the 20th of the month. State social assistance of 300–350 € may be available individually and is not guaranteed wages.

Schedule

Usually two days on / two days off, 168–180 hours per month, mostly 12-hour shifts. Options: 05:00–17:00, 06:00–18:00, 09:00–21:00; a shorter 14:00–20:00 period is also listed. Assignment to the six-hour shift and total hours require clarification when allocated. Two paid 30-minute breaks. No night shifts. An extra 20–30 hours may be available after starting work.

Requirements and conditions

Women and men aged 18–59, minimum height 160 cm, physical fitness. Chest screening completed in Ukraine is mandatory. Process temperatures from +5 °C; some tasks involve a blast-freezing chamber. Shoes, coat, insulated vest, cap and gloves are provided free. Nail and eyelash extensions, facial piercings and jewellery are prohibited.

Housing, meals and transport

Housing costs 75 € per month, 3–4 people per room. Washing machine, dryer, refrigerator, microwave, kitchen utensils and cutlery. Bring bedding, a towel, mug and cutlery. Approximately 10 minutes on foot or up to 20 minutes by public transport; travel is listed as free for Ukrainian citizens and the coordinator provides the route. Workers may eat company products free during shifts; a kitchen is available for free food preparation. Free organised departure from Lviv on Mondays. Independent arrivals register in Vilnius on Tuesdays.

Contract and documents

Employment contract (umowa o pracę). The described registration route requires Lithuanian temporary protection and presence in Ukraine on 24 February 2022. Active visas, a Polish residence card, active PESEL UKR or protection in another EU country are not accepted; previous protection must be closed with documentary evidence.
