Tire warehouse worker — Zelgoszcz

Logistics warehouse, distribution and storage of car tires
(men up to 45 years old)

Workplace: Zelgoszcz
Place of residence: Głowno (20 km from Łódź)

Employment: umowa zlecenie

Salary:
• Guaranteed rate: 27.86 PLN net per hour
• For students: 34.50 PLN gross per hour
• + 1 PLN gross up to each hour of additional payment for working a full month.

Salary for WJO I:
• Guaranteed rate: 30.28 PLN net per hour
• For students: 37.50 PLN net per hour
• + 1 PLN gross per hour additional payment for working a full month.

Payments: Monthly, between the 15th and 20th.

Work schedule:
• Two 12-hour shifts, 5 days per week
• First shift: 06:00 to 18:00
• Second shift: 10:00 to 22:00

Responsibilities: Work on three processes:

• Process 1
Unloading – work on the unloading ramp, unloading tires from the delivery truck, the worker transfers the tires from the truck to a large cart, 5 people work in the process, the tires are carried by the worker and placed on the cart, then the worker takes the cart to the storage locations.

• Process 2:
Tire storage – the worker transfers the tires from the cart to the rack or from the rack to the cart.

• Process 3:
Loading tires into the sorter – the worker lifts the tire from the cart and places it on the sorter, the work includes lifting the tire and placing it on the sorter table. The most difficult part of the work is lifting the tires. Tires come in different sizes and weights, the heaviest tires weigh 30 kg.

• Disadvantages of the work: the mass of the tires, the intense smell of rubber – tires, most intense during storage, least intense on unloading ramps.

Forklift operators:
• Unloading goods: using a forklift or other means to remove goods from a platform or container.
• Placing goods: neatly storing products on racks or in appropriate areas according to warehouse logistics.
• Moving goods: transporting goods to the desired warehouse area (for example, to a storage, shipping or processing area).
• Loading goods: preparing and placing cargo on a vehicle in accordance with weight distribution and safety rules.
• Maneuvering within the warehouse: observing safety rules and optimal travel routes.
• When forklift work is unavailable, operators unload/load tires while retaining the forklift operator pay rate.

Accommodation:
• Comfortable houses equipped with all necessary amenities.
• Bed linen and dishes – have your own!
• Cost of accommodation: 650 PLN per month, deducted from salary.
• Allowance for arranging your own housing: 1.5 PLN net (maximum for 168 hours).

Transport:
• Free transportation from: Głowno, Stryków

Additional information:
• The warehouse is clean, well marked and ventilated.
• Work clothes are provided.
• Room temperature: +20°C to +22°C.
